You've visited the website a few times of the MLM company that
has peaked your interest, you read articles and blogs, carefully
considered the pros and the cons and have decided that becoming a
distributor with this particular company might be a good choice.
Maybe you have a friend who is already involved and thought of you maybe being interested in looking at the opportunity. Your friend answered all your questions and concerns, filled you in on product information and in the end after gaining this personal knowledge you have decided to joined through the MLM side of the business.
Whatever way one decides to get started as a distributor, there are some things that you need to know:
It Takes Effort: When one is just starting there is a learning curve and that is to be expected as you gain more knowledge about all the products, and the business itself. It takes dedication, and a will to succeed. Most of all don't be too hard on yourself. Try and plan your week and pick the tasks you want to perform in that time frame and that will help you to stay focused and on track. It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning so just relax and take it one step at a time. Remember Rome was not built in a day.
It Takes Time: The time
you spend on your business may vary considerably from week to week. One
or two nights a week may be good for one person, weekends might work
best for someone else. Whatever hours you decide to put aside for your
MLM business it is a good idea to try to stick to that time line the
best that you can. I remember when I first started and I had my hours
set for that week, and then something would happen. Just so you know
things will happen..life gets in the way and that is ok. You do what you
can and just realize that it wont always work out exactly as you had
planned.
Making An Income: One must realize that
nothing happens over night and it really does depend how hard one is
willing to work at their business that will determine their income. Each
and every one of us has different goals, so set some goals on what you
expect and just remember to make them realistic for yourself. Setting a
goal for your first year of $100 thousand dollars is probably not
realistic for the majority of us. I am not saying it couldn't happen but
just don't set your expectations so high and when you don't reach that
goal you are disappointed and so you ending up quitting.
When one
becomes a distributor it is really important to just go out and have
fun. Yes, you may be doing it for the extra income or financial freedom
but there is no need to stress over anything.
Sometimes we can take things a little too seriously, and then we find ourselves not going in the direction we anticipated because we are sweating the small stuff. I was way too serious when I first began and when you are up tight you are not going to do as well.
It is all about balance in your business and
in your personal life and when I started doing that it made all the
difference in the world. So when you do decide to get started with the
MLM company you chose just go there and have some fun while you are working
your business.
